Vinney and I agree that forgiveness is absolute and it that is needed to be happy.  Vinney explains that some people want to live in the past and some people go out for revenge.  He says to ask questions to that person that you hurt or hurt you and find a way to make peace.  If you hurt someone and you did not do anything on purpose but you did hurt them. Understanding where they are coming from then, you have a better chance to resolve the situation.  He also says that sometimes things are done and can not be forgiven.  Take responsibility for your actions and be accountable.  Be kind instead of always being right is the way to go.  Vinney explains that resentment will only destroy you.  He also gives his advice on how to forgive others and how to grow as a person.  Learn from forgiving.

  • Forgiveness gives strength
  • Sometimes you can’t take it back
  • Look at the whole picture
  • You never know what someone else is going through
  • Forgiveness gives you piece
  • Look at it from both sides
  • Let go of resentment
