Today we have with us Ruth Ross, author of Coming Alive: The Journey To Reengage Your Life And Career. Many of us have personally felt the pain of knowing we weren’t fully engaged at work or at home (or both), have an important person in our lives experiencing this or perhaps manage a team that is struggling with disengagement. At work or at home, disengagement is a pervasive quandary that requires a commitment to turning things around. Coming Alive will take you on a journey to understand the power of passion and commitment, pinpoint the underlying causes, recognize the symptoms and most importantly, learn an easy-to-use treatment plan for re-engagement.
About Ruth Ross
Ruth Ross spent thirty years as a senior human resources executive at top Fortune 100 companies in both San Francisco and New York City. In 2011 she started her own company to focus on the critical imperative of engagement, both at work and in life. She has a personal passion for identifying and reengaging individuals and companies, which stems from her own face-in-the-mirror moment when she took a long look at herself and took stock of how she was feeling. As a successful executive, she looked around at all the trappings that came with a big job and wondered why she felt invisible and not excited about the work she was doing. After diagnosing her own disengagement, she set off on a new path as an avowed advocate and thought leader for re-engagement.
