Today’s guest on the Silver Linings Storycast is Jordan Klein, the Director of Operations at ShadeWorks Window Fashions.
Jordan is a cofounder of Shadeworks and takes great pride in their personalized approach to customer service focusing on relationships and “lifetime” customers.
Listen in as he shares highlights of his winding road path from beginning his career on the path of his education – science and math focused, he enjoyed kinesiology and launched his professional services in that field. But even though he loved his work, he just found in life he wasn’t quite feeling challenged and growing. He couldn’t see any more growth for himself or accomplishments to still achieve in kinesiology. After quitting his job and traveling, Jordan explored his options and eventually came upon his founding business partners at ShadeWorks through a friend who appreciated Jordan’s work ethic.
In this conversation Jordan shares what elements he considered to make the decision to take a new opportunity and risk working with a startup, and finding new personal fulfillment in learning the value of personalized services in business with clients and always learning how to work with various types of people.
