Carla has 21 years’ experience in the aviation industry, 14 years in Senior and Executive management able to manage virtual teams and relates well with senior executives. She has a proven track record in the leadership and commercial arena able to steer the desired business results focusing on the end result (being success). Her expertise and experience in turning businesses is a major strength specifically in the aviation arena where she understands the nuts and bolts of aviation.
Her passion for education and self-development has further strengthened her knowledge and expertise in managing a Profit & Loss successfully. Carla has attained both sound operational and management experience during her career on a global scale understanding what the key drivers are that face organisations today. Her passion for driving sales, containing costs and adding value to both internal and external stakeholders is demonstrated below.
Today she manages an airline region at a Director level, is the Chairman and Board Director on two additional organisations and wishes to pursue a new role that is both challenging and fulfilling at an Executive level adding value at an operational, strategic and at a community level.
Aviation is a challenging business where the profit margins are extremely challenging; 1% to 2% profit margins are considered to be good as per industry norms and therefore achieving budgets and targets in this industry requires sound leadership, experience, expertise and more importantly passion.
