As a professional speaker, who has been a nurse for over 30 years and a professional actor even longer, Dr. Candy Campbell works with various audiences on team work and leadership.
Campbell’s doctoral work centered around interprofessional communication using improv to improve peak performance with healthcare teams. Her clinical research with families of premature babies became an award-winning documentary film called “Micropremature Babies: How Low Can You Go?”, which has been seen on four continents. Candy’s interest in nursing history led to the creation of her latest interactive, one-person show, presented as a keynote: “Channeling Florence Nightingale: Integrity, Insight, and Innovation.” The book with the same title has received rave reviews from nurses and historians.
