Welcome to Episode 224 of Building My Legacy.
In this podcast we talk with Eric Holsapple who has merged mindfulness and business and found that, in all cases, business has improved. Eric shares with us his own journey of success: how he started in real estate and how he came to found Living in the Gap. This non-profit offers workshops to teach CEOs and professionals how to operate mindfully while improving their bottom line. “I don’t see anything in mindfulness which is contradictory to business,” Eric tells us, because mindfulness leads to focus, which is what we’re missing in business today.
So if you want to know:
- Why you need to get some separation from the 6,000 thoughts you have each day
- The problem with looking to someone else to tell you what you should be thinking
- How a one-hour walk every day can slow down your mind and help you really be present
- The biggest challenge in bringing mindfulness to a business
- The importance of finding your purpose — and where to look for it
- How to get started becoming more mindful
