Named one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence (yes, she’s from the “Land Down Under”!), Kate Fitzsimons is an international speaker, certified life coach & Director of the Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation – a charity established in honour of her sister Nicole who died in an accident in Thailand during 2012.
Determined to save others from this tragic fate, Kate Fitzsimons went from a broken hearted sister to a woman on a mission. In 2013 she left her corporate career to dedicate herself to educating young Aussie’s about the importance of travel safety. Through her eye-opening presentation at high schools, Kate drives home to students the devastating consequences of risk taking overseas – a message so powerful that she is now supported by the Australian government and major corporations.
Inspired to help others thrive through adversity as she has, Kate’s mission now is to help teens and twenty-somethings grow their resilience through hundreds of talks to over 100,000 students around the world and through her popular podcast show, ”Okay. Now What?”. Knowing firsthand how unpredictable life can be, Kate’s greatest passion is to provide inspiration and practical advice to help you overcome even the most traumatic experiences in an empowering way.
