Welcome to Episode 97 of Building My Legacy.
In this podcast we talk with life coach Sonna Johns who helps her clients overcome negative people and move past their own unique challenges — in their personal and business lives. With the challenges facing all of us today, there’s never been a better time to explore ways to deal with negativity and take steps to ensure it doesn’t affect our work and home life.
Sonna believes there are ways to cope with negativity and, although it may not always be easy, she reminds us that we have a choice. If we try to do the right things — with our business and personal relationships — yet we get “off track,” we can choose to get ourselves right back on track. She recognizes that today many of us are facing problems we’ve never dealt with before, and it can be hard to be positive all the time. “I never say, ‘Don’t feel the pain,’ just don’t feel it for too long,” she explains.
So if you want to know:
- How being grateful, taking care of yourself and giving back can help you manage each day’s challenges
- Why productivity shouldn’t be your scorecard — and what should be
- The most important thing to understand about challenging relationships at work
- Some good things that have come out of the COVID-19 restrictions
- The role of a strong support system as you continue to cope with life’s challenges
About Sonna Johns
Sonna Johns has experienced some significant challenges herself. As a single mother raising two boys for the past fourteen years, she identifies with her clients who face negative people and challenging situations. She left the corporate world — having worked in the competitive environment of marketing and advertising for more than 10 years — to become a life coach, helping others learn to love themselves and become more self-empowered. She is the founder of Sonnalife LLC, which focuses on personal growth and self-mastery. A certified Law of Attraction Life Coach, she sees her mission as teaching others how to raise their awareness, become more confident and learn how to trust themselves.
