Jason Swenk joins me today for this super insightful episode. We go deep into his story and how he found success as an “accidental” digital marketing agency owner. It’s pretty damn impressive. And now I am super fortunate to be able to call him a close friend and colleague.
We also dive into what he’s doing now, helping agencies scale faster by developing systems and focusing on the right strategies, and avoiding all the distractions that plague us all. Jason’s goal is to provide the support and feedback he wishes he had when growing his own agency.
He gives it all away on his website and through his killer podcast, you gotta check it out. And the other way he’s helping agency owners are through Masterminds. Yep, and a big part of what he’s found that helps agencies like mine are masterminds.
As a motocross racer, I understand that taking the inside line can often lead to an advantage over your competition, and ultimately victory. And that’s how I feel about masterminds and I am so grateful to be a part of Jason’s kick-butt Mastermind group, it’s helped me immensely. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Jason’s Mastermind.
And I almost wasn’t, because Jason doesn’t let just anyone into his group. In fact, I was initially rejected when I applied, I just wasn’t there yet. But I think that just made me that much more determined, so I knuckled down, did what I had to do, I was eventually able to pass the muster.
Listen as we go over what to look for in a Mastermind and how they can work for you. I know we all can’t join Jason’s, but there are other masterminds out there. And you could even start your own, I highly recommend it.
If you want to grow your business and to keep growing, it’s one of the best decisions that I made in my career as an agency owner and it’ll be one of yours too.
Thanks again for joining me, be sure and check out Jason’s podcast and his stellar advice, he’s truly an educator and advocate for the success of every agency owner.
