Sherri Gallagher, Quality and Industrial Engineering Consultant at Technacon Company Inc. Sherri holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from L.C. Smith College of Engineering at Syracuse University and has over 30 years experience working with manufacturers.

She is the author of multiple articles and books. She has held positions in engineering, production, and quality and has worked with clean rooms for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, electronics manufacture, explosives manufacture, plastic injection molding for the cosmetics and food industries, specialty metals stamping and forming, mining, large system machining and assembly.

She was trained in the implementation of ISO 9001 in 1988 qualified as an auditor in 1996 and re-certified in 2001, in 2013 and completed extensive training in the 2015 revision. In 2008 she completed the certifications for the implementation and auditing of ISO 14001, the environmental standard and has also trained in the 2015 updates. She founded Technacon and has been working as an independent consultant since 2001.

Her focus is to help her clients increase long-term profitability and shares this in her upcoming book, “Profit is not a four letter word” due out later this year.
