We all experience some form of rejection at some point in our lives, but it is how we respond to that rejection that will determine the ultimate outcome. Through all the awards and recognition, and there have been many, Dawn remains humble and faithful to what matter most.  She is giving and compassionate, and cares greatly for her community, state, and country.
