Elizabeth Allen shares about Healing From Grief After the Loss of a Loved One. In this case, it was her child.

Elizabeth Allen is married and has eight wonderful children, 7 who are living.

Sadly, In July of 2010, Elizabeth suffered the sudden and unexpected death of her youngest son Jesse from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a hereditary heart condition. Both she and her family experienced that great loss and the grieving process and have learned a great deal about the effects of deep grief and loss.

Elizabeth talks with us on the ways that profound grief effects us, from the not knowing what to say when someone we know suffers a loss to the awkwardness and at times avoidance. In addition, Elizabeth shares insights and healing processes along with interesting and effective healing therapies and techniques, such as a healing system known as BodyTalk. Elizabeth is also writing a book to give hope and healing to those who have experienced loss.

Elizabeth has quite an extensive background in various complementary health care modalities: Midwifery, Iridology, Therapeutic Touch, Herbology, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and 4 years of focus on Lymphatic Therapy as well as having studied Psychology and Social Work. To top that off, she has also served as a First Responder for her community of Woodland Hills, Utah. Elizabeth has an active BodyTalk practice in Utah as well.
