Nick Choat is an entrepreneur, consultant, and speaker with over three decades of professional experience, most recently as a small business digital strategist.
His professional career began in rural East Tennessee, when as a child Nick worked at his family’s country grocery store. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with degrees in Marketing and Computer Science, he went on to hold executive positions with highly respected brands such as Ernst & Young Consulting, the Boeing Company, and VeriSign. His last corporate position was as an executive with the Walt Disney Company. While at Disney, Nick held integral roles helping the company transform into a digitally driven media powerhouse.
Nick’s mission now is to translate his digital skills and experiences developed at these major brands to meet the needs of small business owners, including himself.
He is currently a multi-unit franchisee of Sport Clips Haircuts, leading the expansion of the franchise brand throughout southwest Florida. You might ask “What does the hair business have to do with digital marketing?” I’d suggest you might be pleasantly surprised with the answer.
He regularly speaks on digital strategies for small businesses and consults with small business owners on how to steer their business into the digitally driven future. He helps answer business owner questions such as “How can social media help my business grow?” and “The digital world is overwhelming, how do I get started?”.
Nick and his wife and kids live in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
