Before entering the real estate industry, Scott Newman worked in the private client division of Merrill Lynch in downtown Chicago. His experience working under one of the top brokers in the country gave him invaluable experience, which he took with him when he decided to forgo a career in the financial industry and follow his passions and go into
real estate.
Scott began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker where he was directly mentored by one of the top foreclosure brokers in America. He was taught all aspects of the foreclosure business while steadily building his own clientele base and gaining invaluable experience as a broker.
In 2009 Scott decided to leave and start his own brokerage, Newman Realty. They opened their doors in 2009 with a Bucktown retail location and focused their attention on the downtown Chicago market.
Since then, Scott’s business has grown by 1500% putting him in some of the most elite company of brokers in Chicago. In 2015, Scott’s team successfully closed approximately $75,000,000 in sales and closed over 250 transactions, putting him in the top handful of brokers in all of Cook County.
With no plans of slowing down, Scott continues to rapidly expand his territory and volume by focusing on customer service, technology, and a level of dedication and results that is second to none.
