About Jorge Bassante
Jorge is an Ecuadorian immigrant who moved to the United States at the tender age of 11. His journey was marked by remarkable academic success, culminating in graduating at the top of his class. This budding intellectual then went on to share his knowledge with others as a teacher.
Yearning for his roots, Jorge decided to return to Ecuador, where he took a position in the pivotal oil sector. However, he quickly found that his ambitions surpassed the limitations of his government job, which offered low pay and little satisfaction.
During a fateful conversation with his uncle, who was employed by a Dallas-based HVAC contractor, a spark of inspiration ignited within Jorge. The dialogue with his uncle opened a window to an entirely new pathway—one that seemed to promise the fulfillment and remuneration he was seeking. It was this very conversation that rerouted Jorge’s professional trajectory, setting him on a path that appeared to merge his desire for meaningful work with the potential for better financial rewards.
