Jill James, LLC is a consulting & coaching firm that transforms self-funded businesses into high-profit companies through strategic operating support
Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, Jill attended the University of Chicago, where she graduated with honors in political science.
She then moved to New York to work in banking with J.P. Morgan and AXA Financial.
She returned to the University of Chicago’s Boothe school of business to study finance, but switch to entrepreneurship, strategy, and marketing after a summer internship with a venture back to start up. She’s held executive positions at early stage technology companies in San Francisco and Los Angeles and served as an advisor to the media, marketing, and entrepreneurship program at the USC Annenberg school of communications.
In 2015, Jill realized work wasn’t working for her anymore. At seven months pregnant, she started Sif Industries to help founders define success on their own terms.
Her “twins”— her son and her company — have grown up together in Los Angeles and Valencia, Spain.
